The ruling invalidates a 2025 Executive Order that would have potentially increased visa sponsorship costs and reduced the number of foreign nationals willing to work in the US on temporary visas.
The Supreme Court has ruled that the Department of Homeland Security can terminate the Temporary Protected Status (TPS) of more than 300,000 Haitians and Syrians. The ruling paves the way for the administration to rescind TPS for another 250,000 workers from several other countries as well.
