Burien employers that meet the definition of employer under Wash. Rev. Code ยง 49.46.010 and employ over 15 employees worldwide should consider including this statement in their handbook to educate employees, including supervisors, about additional hours of work that may be available to part-time employees and to show their compliance with Burien's Fair Labor Standards Ordinance.
