As required by the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), any employer that has at least one employee who works more than 30 days in a year in the State of California must post the California Paid Sick Leave Poster.
Employers that elect to provide paid sick leave and seek to clearly establish the important components of the program, such as accrual, qualifying reasons for use, carry over and notice requirements should consider including this model policy statement in their handbook.
As mandated by the District of Columbia Department of Employment Services (DOES), District of Columbia employers covered by the Accrued Sick and Safe Leave Act must post the Accrued Sick and Safe Leave Act Poster.
As mandated by San Francisco's Office of Labor Standards Enforcement, all employers with employees in San Francisco must post the San Francisco Paid Sick Leave Poster.
