Employers with one or more employees in New York City should consider including this statement in their handbook to educate employees about the availability of paid prenatal personal leave (PPPL) under the city's Earned Safe and Sick Time Act and New York's Sick and Safe Leave Law, and to show their compliance with the PPPL requirements under both laws.
Indiana employers should consider including this statement in their handbook to educate employees about the availability of leave to attend a school attendance conference or case conference committee meeting and to show their compliance with Indiana's school conference leave law, effective July 1, 2025.
